Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information this website collects, how it's used, and how to reach us with questions.
Effective / last updated: August 15, 2026
Who This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Poise People Consulting, LLC ("Poise," "we," "us") handles information collected through this website, located at poisepeople.com.
Information You Provide
When you submit our contact form, you provide us with your name, email address, organization (optional), and the message you write. This is the only information this website actively asks you to provide.
Technical Information Automatically Processed
Like virtually any website, this site's hosting infrastructure automatically processes standard technical request information for every visit (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) as an inherent function of serving web pages, independent of anything you submit. This website also loads Google Fonts to display its typefaces; as an inherent function of loading any resource from an external server, Google's servers separately receive similar technical request information (such as IP address) when your browser requests those font files. We do not use this technical information for tracking, profiling, or advertising, and we do not maintain an analytics dashboard built on it.
What This Website Does Not Do
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, run analytics or tracking scripts, use advertising pixels, or knowingly collect information from children.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about your interest in our services. We do not use it for any other purpose without your knowledge.
How Your Submission Is Handled: Formspree
When you submit our contact form, your submission is transmitted to and processed by Formspree, Inc. ("Formspree"), a third-party form-processing service we use. Formspree temporarily stores a copy of your submission within our Formspree account, in accordance with Formspree's own applicable data-retention practices and our account settings, and separately delivers a copy by email to our business inbox. We do not operate or control Formspree's infrastructure; while your information is within Formspree's systems, it is subject to Formspree's own security and data-handling practices, described at formspree.io.
Retention
In addition to any temporary storage by Formspree described above, Poise retains inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and for legitimate business record-keeping purposes.
Do We Sell or Share Your Information?
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted-advertising purposes. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
California Privacy Rights
California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, may provide California residents with additional rights regarding their personal information, such as rights to know, delete, or correct information we hold about them, to the extent applicable. If you are a California resident and would like to make a privacy-related request, contact us at hr@poisepeople.com, and we will respond as appropriate under applicable law.
Do Not Track & Browser Privacy Signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting or similar privacy signal. Because this website does not track visitors' activity over time or across third-party websites, we do not respond differently to these signals: there is no cross-site tracking for them to disable.
Security
Our form-processing provider publishes information about its security practices, including encryption of data in transit and at rest and independent third-party security auditing. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid including sensitive personal information (your own or a specific employee's) in your initial message; we will follow up through a more appropriate channel if your matter requires it.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-Party Links
This website links to our LinkedIn profile. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites you may visit through such links.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date above reflects the date of the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected by updating that date.
